Communications

The Office of Communications supports the strategic goals of the entire College including the University Eye Center, as the office overseeing public affairs, marketing, branding, digital media, and web content.

Through internal and external outlets, the Office of Communications seeks to tell SUNY College of Optometry’s stories highlighting the scholarship and achievements of our faculty, researchers, and students; emphasizing our distinctive characteristics; demonstrating our leadership in the optometric field; and advancing the overall strategic goals of the College.

News and Media

Serving as the spokes team for SUNY College of Optometry, the Office of Communications creates, disseminates, and contacts news outlets as well as handles all press requests from media sources.

Marketing and Branding

Creative services are offered in conjunction with members of the IT team, vendors, and other resources. Materials must adhere to the style guide and use of the trademarked logo. All brochures, publications, advertisements, and other displays using any of the College’s logos should be submitted for review by a member of the Communications team.
