Giving Tuesday - EyeGiveNEW YORK, NY – Tis’ the season at SUNY College of Optometry to share in the spirit of charity and goodwill to others on Giving Tuesday–November 30, a global movement launched in 2012 that inspires hundreds of millions of people worldwide to give, collaborate, and celebrate generosity in various ways.

How can you participate? You can help SUNY Optometry promote gratitude, goodness, and camaraderie throughout our campus and beyond when you:

  • Follow, like, and share our social media posts. Be sure to watch our videos!
  • Create your own “#EyeGive (thanks) because” or “#EyeAppreciate SUNY Optometry” videos/photos and share them on social media (please tag us @sunyopt). Every submission is eligible for a chance to win a College tote bag with a pair of designer sunglasses inside!
  • Spread the word to friends, family, and colleagues. Through random acts of kindness as individuals and a community, we are meeting the needs of the moment.
