What does receiving this award or scholarship mean to you?
I am deeply honored to receive both of these awards. To me, these awards represent my dedication and commitment to providing the best possible care for my patients. As a future resident in pediatric optometry, I am especially honored to be recognized for my work in the area of optometry that I am most passionate about! I am also humbled to be recognized for my low vision skills, especially because it was an area in which I initially felt less confident. I am immensely thankful for all of my professors, clinical supervisors, and mentors who have helped me grow and get to where I am today! Thank you!
What are your plans following graduation?
After graduation, I will be completing a residency in pediatric optometry at SUNY Optometry.
