What does receiving this award or scholarship mean to you?
I have been working part-time throughout my first and second year as the financial burden of higher education has been daunting. When I received the scholarship, I felt an incredible sense of relief. It allowed me to redirect my time from worrying about finances to focusing entirely on my studies and clinical skills. However, the scholarship was more than just a financial gift- it was a vote of confidence. It told me that others believed in my potential and that belief helped me feel confident about myself.
What are your plans following graduation?
I may complete in a residency but am not sure in which specialty.
