DR. MAX COHEN MEMORIAL AWARD for Volunteer Commitment to Community Service
What does receiving this award or scholarship mean to you?
I am incredibly honored to receive this award for my service and contribution to the community. This award recognizes my efforts to organize various community service initiatives, particularly given the unprecedented challenges posed by the pandemic. When club activities were paused, I worked hard to brainstorm creative and meaningful ways to positively impact the school and community. Receiving this award also fuels me to continue to invest in my community after graduation.
What are your plans following graduation?
I plan to work at a private practice where I can focus on primary care and ocular disease and continue to learn as a young clinician.
