Crime Log

This log includes only incidents reported to the University Police Department that occurred on the premises of the College. All crimes, as defined by the NYS laws are included. Only incidents within the most recent 60-day period are included. This log will be publicly available only during normal business hours, and can be viewed by faculty, staff, students and the general public.

Bias Related/ Hate Crimes Log

According to definition in New York State Penal Law § 485.05: A person commits a hate crime when he or she commits a specified criminal offense and either intentionally commits the act or intentionally selects the person against whom the offense is committed in whole or in substantial part because of a belief or perception regarding the race, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, religion, religious practice, age, disability or sexual orientation of a person, regardless of whether the belief or perception is correct. OR, A person intentionally commits the act or acts constituting the offense in whole or in substantial part because of a belief or perception regarding the race, color, national origin, ancestry, gender, gender identity or expression, religion, religious practice, age, disability or sexual orientation of a person, regardless of whether the belief or perception is correct.

In keeping with Chapter 191 of the Laws of 2023 and the New York State Law (NYS EDN Article 129-A, section 6433) the College is reporting on Hate Crimes that have occurred on campus for the past year.

REPORTING:
In calendar year 2023, there were no bias or hate crimes reported.
